Mega-Flo S-3 6.7L Cummins Intake Manifold

Looking for massive airflow increases for your high performance 6.7L Cummins? The new Mega-Flo 6.7L intake manifold delivers!

The Mega-Flo 6.7L intake manifold is a precision, permanent mold, aluminum casting. Casting via permanent mold and heat treating gives the Mega-Flo S-3 superior material density for final machining. The permanent mold process offers a precision part with a great finish for colored powdercoat.

To maximize internal flow area, the #1 injector line relief is cast in as a solid boss. This allows us to finish machine the relief slot for tight tolerance and low interior protrusion. During final machining, all interior bosses are reduced to the absolute minimum needed for injector line clearance. From a design standpoint the Mega-Flo S-3 6.7L intake manifold is a perfect blend of fit, form and function.

Two things are at play with our intake systems, pressure and velocity. The flaring design of the Mega-Flo S-3 causes an increase in cross sectional area as the incoming air charge approaches the plenum area. The increased area slows the air velocity and increases the pressure. This is important because low velocity air has less drag as it encounters obstructions like the sharp turn into the plenum area. For example, the same thing happens at the entrance to the intercooler. The small pipe expands to the huge volume of the intercooler. This accomplishes two things. First it slows the air down so that all of the tiny intercooler passages don't cause unnecessary drag. Second it increases the pressure of the air so it can transfer heat more efficiently. For maximum airflow you need to look at the system as a whole.

To lower restriction even further we have gone to a 5 bolt mounting design. This design eliminates the pass thru boss needed for the 6th bolt and allows us to open the cross sectional area even further. Some 5 bolt manifold designs allow "gasket creep" which causes long term gasket failure due to thermal cycling. To eliminate this, we leave a gasket retainer boss for the 6th bolt location during final machining. This boss captures the gasket and eliminates gasket creep.

For accessories such as boost gauges, water/meth or nitrous the Mega-Flo S-3 is ready. On the back we have added five 1/8" NPT ports which will cover all of your additions with room to grow down the road.

I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Longhorn 4x4. This is my first diesel and at 5k miles I installed the Air-Boss 67 with The S-3 intake horn, CCV delete kit, 5 inch Flo-Pro turbo back exhaust, EGR cooler delete, H&S Mini maxx Race tuner and man my truck is ALIVE!!! I am absolutely shocked at how good it runs. The instructions were good and install was pretty straight forward. Richard called me back and emailed me and was on top of everything I asked! Top notch stuff and great people to deal with! My mpg has went from 13.8 around town to 18 and highway went from 16.5 to 23-25mpg depending on H&S tune I'm cruising on! Engine stays cooler it seems and takes a lil longer to warm up, because of the better flow! BUY THIS SET UP FOR YOUR TRUCK! No regrets!

Just installed this manifold and I highly recommend it. Not only does it come with very clear and precise instructions with take off of original and re install of the new one. It also leaves a very clean look under the hood. Throttle response is amazingly better and EGT's are a lot cooler highly recommended once again!!

Purchased intake 8-1-2011 and installed yesterday. Fit and finish was excellent, directions clear, concise, and kit was complete. Even included lock tight. I have a medium modified truck and was looking for improvement in intake flow etc. After installation, truck was obviously breathing better, spooled quicker, and the side benefit I wasn't expecting a slight increase in fuel mileage, maybe around a .5 mile increase. I attribute that to increased air flow to burn the heavy fuel mods on my truck. Great product recommend to all.

I recently installed this intake along with the "3.5 Boost tube on my 2008 6.7, and all I can say is AWESOME!!!! Fit and finish is excellent, I can't tell you how many times people have said " Damn that looks good " when I pop the hood. EGT's are down and the throttle response is a day and night difference around town, I HIGHLY recommend this intake to anyone!

They did it again! I recommend this product for anyone with a 6.7. It drastically reduced my egt temps and gave me an increase of 100 lb feet or torque on the dyno when paired with the Air-Boss 67. Awesome product worth every penny.
