Ok first of this thing is nice and its a definite improvement over the factory air-blocker lol. But my only complaint is, I installed this and the truck started ran like a top then WTF man it would not hold rail pressure over more that 4K. First I thought great I broke something. No leaks nothing, dodge was no help go figure they where sending me down the thousands of dollars path... Help any body out there got any insight on this.....Well after completely feeling like I should have never done the delete much less install the S2 and grid heater delete. I gave Glacier a call and left a message about needing help... With in minutes I received a phone call. The "Cummins Wizard" on the other end told me exactly what I did wrong not even 2 min into my call.... For those out there still new to the Cummins world or to there fuel system these things are touchy. During the removal process of the fuel line from the feeder tube nuts I some how, with out noticing loosened the feed tube nut. Now I know if your like me you would think wouldn't it leak... NOPE! It allowed air to enter the system which would not allow me to build rail pressure. So take my advice that I learned the hard way from the amazing Glacier Cummins Wizard. Take the lines off 1,2,3,4, and the high pressure feed line and return, and also the temperature sending unit all the way in the back. It has a very small prob that will break. Once all those things are removed the old unit will slide out with a little persuasion. Then your new one will slip into place! Now here is the most critical part of the whole thing besides being surgically clean with everything. *****Torque the feed tube nuts to 37 ft lbs**** then make a mark with a paint marker or scribe. And unless you have the feed tube nut tool slowly install the fuel rail lines finger tight starting with the head then the fuel rail. And during the tightening of the fuel lines to the feed tube nut make dang sure they DO NOT MOVE!!!
Hopefully this will save someone some sweat and anger out there.
Once again thank you Glacier Wizards!!
