Glacier Diesel Power 2010–2012 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins MK-2+ Fuel Filter System & 3/8" Big Line Kit (MK21012-BLK)

Description

Higher injection pressures make clean, unrestricted fuel especially important on the 2010–2012 Ram 6.7L Cummins.

The Glacier Diesel Power MK-2+ Fuel Filter System adds a high-efficiency Fleetguard FF5320 secondary fuel filter between the factory filter housing and the CP3 injection pump. At the same time, the included 3/8-inch Big Line Kit replaces the restrictive factory supply line with larger, serviceable fuel hose and quality fittings.

This gives your truck the best of both worlds: additional filtration before fuel reaches the CP3 and injectors, along with a less restrictive supply path capable of supporting stock trucks, towing applications, and serious performance builds.

The custom Glacier mounting bracket positions the secondary filter near the intake manifold for convenient access during routine service. Each bracket is laser cut and CNC formed for a clean, vehicle-specific installation.

Features

  • Fits 2010–2012 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 6.7L Cummins

  • Designed and manufactured by Glacier Diesel Power

Why Upgrade to the MK-2+?

The factory fuel system must supply clean fuel to components operating under extremely high pressure. Fine contamination can contribute to wear inside the CP3 injection pump and injectors, while restrictive plumbing can reduce the fuel pressure and volume available under heavier demand.

The MK-2+ addresses both concerns in one package:

  • The FF5320 adds a dedicated secondary filtration stage before the injection system.
  • The 3/8-inch Big Line Kit replaces the small factory supply line between the filter housing and CP3.

This makes the system an excellent upgrade for daily drivers, tow rigs, work trucks, and performance builds that need dependable fuel delivery without sacrificing filtration.

Glacier Fuel System Tech Tip

A larger fuel line does not create fuel pressure by itself. Its purpose is to reduce unnecessary restriction so the lift pump can deliver fuel more efficiently.

Fuel pressure and volume still depend on the condition of the lift pump, filters, tank pickup, electrical supply, and the rest of the fuel system. Monitoring supply pressure under load is one of the best ways to verify that the system is performing correctly.

The FF5320 and 3/8-inch plumbing used in the MK-2+ are designed to support substantial fuel flow while maintaining minimal pressure loss.

Why Glacier Built It This Way

Glacier did not want customers to choose between better filtration and better fuel flow.

The MK-2+ combines both upgrades into one vehicle-specific system. The secondary filter helps capture fine contamination before it reaches expensive injection components, while the Big Line Kit removes one of the smallest sections of the factory supply path.

The custom mounting bracket securely positions the filter near the intake manifold, keeping it protected under the hood while still making filter changes straightforward.

The result is a clean, complete fuel-system upgrade rather than a collection of universal brackets and mismatched fittings.

Applications

Fits:

  • 2010 Ram 2500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2010 Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2010 Ram 4500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2010 Ram 5500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2011 Ram 2500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2011 Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2011 Ram 4500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2011 Ram 5500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2012 Ram 2500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2012 Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2012 Ram 4500 6.7L Cummins
  • 2012 Ram 5500 6.7L Cummins

This kit is designed specifically for 6.7L Cummins applications.

Kit Contents

The Glacier Diesel Power MK-2+ Kit includes:

  • Fleetguard FF5320 fuel filter
  • Glacier vehicle-specific mounting bracket
  • Glacier 3/8-inch Big Line components
  • Fuel hose and fittings
  • Mounting hardware
  • Installation components

Important Notes

  • Fits 2010–2012 Ram trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins.
  • Designed for 6.7L applications only.
  • Retains the factory primary fuel filter housing.
  • Adds the FF5320 as a secondary filter before the CP3.
  • Prime the fuel system after installation.
  • Inspect every connection for leaks before operating the engine.
  • Recheck the fittings and hose routing after the first complete heat cycle.
  • Replace the FF5320 according to fuel quality, restriction, and recommended service intervals.

Common Failure Point

Fine contamination and restrictive factory plumbing can both affect long-term common-rail fuel-system reliability.

The factory filter remains the primary filtration stage, but the MK-2+ adds another layer of protection immediately before the CP3 and injectors. Replacing the restrictive supply line at the same time helps prevent the upgraded filter system from being paired with one of the smallest sections of the original plumbing.

A restricted filter, weak lift pump, or contaminated fuel source can still cause supply problems, so the complete fuel system should be inspected whenever low pressure or reduced performance is present.
