1. What Products Won’t Ship for Free?
Free shipping applies only to eligible products shipped within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
Products that do not qualify for free shipping include, but are not limited to:

Freight shipments

Oversized or heavy items

Orders shipping outside of the lower 48 states

Orders with very low profit margins that prevent us from covering shipping costs
Any international core return costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, including shipping, duties, and customs fees.
Please note that our website platform has character and space limitations. Because of this, certain orders (including Alaska, Hawaii, Canadian, and international shipments) may display “Free Shipping” even when that is not accurate.
If your order is marked “NOT FREE” or you receive an additional freight invoice after purchase, that means shipping is not included.
If you choose to cancel after receiving your invoice, you are still responsible for any payment processing fees outlined in our refund policy.
If you do not agree with these terms — do not purchase from us.
2. Shipping Protection, Liability Waiver & Dispute Terms
We offer optional Route Shipping Protection to safeguard your order against loss, theft, or damage in transit.
This protection is automatically selected at checkout for your convenience and protection.
If you manually deselect or decline Route Shipping Protection, you are knowingly and voluntarily waiving all rights to file claims, chargebacks, or disputes related to lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.
By declining protection, you are agreeing that:

You are waiving all coverage for loss, theft, or damage in transit.

Glacier Diesel Power (GDP) will not be held liable for any shipping-related issues once the package leaves our facility.

No replacements, refunds, or claims will be honored for any order where Route Protection was declined.

UPS, our primary shipping carrier, provides only up to $100 in coverage for lost packages (unless Route Protection is selected and paid for).
If you do not agree to these terms — do not purchase from us.
By completing your order, you are acknowledging, understanding, and agreeing that you have read these terms and waive all rights (including those of your payment processor or credit card company) to dispute any non-delivery, loss, or damage claim.
3. Payment Disputes & Administrative Fees
By purchasing from Glacier Diesel Power (GDP), you expressly agree not to dispute or charge back any transaction related to the shipping protection policy or the outcome of a declined protection claim.
If a dispute or chargeback is filed against this policy, you agree to the following:

You are responsible for all associated fees incurred as a result of the dispute.

A minimum administrative fee of $175.00 per hour (1-hour minimum) will be billed for time spent gathering documentation, compiling evidence, and responding to your payment processor.

You are also responsible for any legal, recovery, or administrative costs necessary to resolve the dispute.
By purchasing from Glacier Diesel Power, you authorize GDP to charge your payment method for these costs if a dispute is initiated.
4. Shipping Timeframes & Lead Times
All shipping timeframes refer to the estimated delivery time after the item ships, not from the date of purchase.
Most orders do arrive within the estimated lead time; however, product availability, manufacturer delays, or carrier issues can occasionally cause delays.
If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before purchasing to confirm stock and lead times.
While we work hard to keep product information current, as a small, family-owned business, we cannot update every listing in real-time.
If you find a product on our website that is out of stock elsewhere, we recommend verifying availability with us first.
5. What Could Cause a Shipping Delay?
Delays can occur for several reasons, including but not limited to:

Incorrect or incomplete shipping address

Carrier delays, missed pickups, or weather interruptions

Orders placed after daily shipping cutoffs

Manufacturer backorders or out-of-stock products

High order volumes during peak or holiday periods
We will contact you via phone or email if any delay occurs that affects your shipment.
During the holidays, please allow for additional time as our small team takes limited days off to spend time with family.
6. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We primarily ship through UPS, FedEx, and USPS, though we may use other carriers when needed.
If you have a specific carrier preference, please note it in your order comments or contact us immediately after placing your order.
Expedited shipping options are available upon request. Please contact us for quotes prior to ordering if you need your shipment expedited.
7. International, Alaska & Hawaii Shipments
Yes — we ship worldwide, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.
However, please note:

Customs duties, brokerage, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Freight fees vary based on destination, package weight, and dimensions.

If you order from Alaska, Hawaii, or another international destination, you may be contacted after your order is placed to cover additional shipping charges.
If you are uncertain about your shipping cost, please email us for a quote before ordering.
8. Customer Acknowledgment
By purchasing from Glacier Diesel Power (GDP), you are:

Confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to this shipping policy in full.

Waiving all rights to dispute, chargeback, or reverse any payment related to shipping delays, loss, or damage if Route Protection was declined.

Accepting that UPS and other carriers provide up to $100 in coverage by default for lost packages without Route Protection.

Authorizing Glacier Diesel Power to charge your payment method for any administrative or dispute-related fees if a chargeback is initiated.
