Modified trucks which produce higher than stock boost pressures can burst the stock intercooler hoses. This results in a loss of manifold boost and power. GDP High Pressure Intercooler Boots stop this problem with a heavy duty reinforced hose which is stronger than stock and has better grip.

03-07 5.9L Dodge Cummins uses 3 of them. One on the transition from intercooler tube to the intercooler on the passenger side, one on the transition from the intercooler to the intercooler tube on the driver's side and another one from that same intercooler tube to the intake manifold.

07.5-09 6.7L Dodge Cummins uses one on the inlet and one on the outlet to the intercooler. These hoses are also available in complete kits for 03-07 5.9L trucks and 07.5-09 6.7L trucks.
